Seiko Instruments presents compact thermal CAPM mechanism with a built-in automatic cutter. The mechanism is distinguished by an extremely high cutter strength – minimum 2 million cuts – and a high lifetime of the head guaranteeing a minimum of 200 km of print.
The printing mechanism is characterized by unusually high printing speed – max. 300 mm / s. CAPM is an easy operation mechanism (with a removable roller), which makes it very easy to change the paper roll.
Small dimensions, reliability and speed make these mechanisms can be used in many demanding applications. The distinguishing feature of this mechanism is the possibility of using paper of various width (83/80/60/58 mm). CAPM works in a wide range of temperatures from -20C to 60C, so it works in all conditions.
The mechanism is used in measuring devices, in stationary electronic (fiscal) cash registers, in unmanned infokiosks and in ticket printing devices.
