SUNMI L2Ks – industrial-grade mobile data terminal

The SUNMI L2Ks is a versatile device designed for use in demanding environments – from warehouses and logistics centres to grocery stores, markets and sorting lines. It combines a professional barcode scanner, robust construction and a powerful operating system based on Android 11, offering a complete solution for operational processes in the field.

Professional scanner

The heart of the device is a scanner capable of performing over 10 reads per second, with a range of up to one metre. The laser aimer precisely indicates the selected code, eliminating the problem of incorrect reading even in front of an entire wall of labels. The scanner handles difficult-to-read codes – scratched, dirty, crumpled, film-wrapped – as well as high-precision codes and specialist DPM codes. The terminal supports reading of 1D and 2D codes, and versions equipped with Zebra scanning engines are also available.

Durable and lightweight design

The L2Ks has an IP68 protection rating, meaning full protection against dust and resistance to brief submersion in water up to 1.2 m. The construction has passed drop tests from 1.8 m, making it suitable for damp rooms and outdoor stalls. Despite its solid build, the terminal weighs just 243.5 g, ensuring comfort during long, one-handed use.

Battery, display and audio

The replaceable ATL polymer battery with a capacity of 5000 mAh and voltage of 3.8 V withstands up to 800 charging cycles and allows work during two eight-hour shifts. The four-inch HD screen with 800 × 480 resolution, made in capacitive IPS technology, offers brightness up to 650 nits (significantly more than the 350 nits typical of competing models), enabling comfortable use even in full sunlight. Two 1W speakers ensure clear voice communication even in noisy production halls and warehouses.

Connectivity and additional modules

The terminal offers a full set of communication modules: dual-band Wi-Fi (2.4 GHz and 5 GHz), 4G/3G/2G cellular connectivity, Bluetooth 5.0 with BLE and GPS, AGPS, GLONASS, BeiDou and Galileo satellite navigation. The optional NFC module supports Type A and Type B cards, Mifare and Felica, enabling quick price changes and identification of membership cards and identity documents. The device is equipped with slots for NANO SIM, standard SIM, MicroSD and optionally PSAM cards.
