The SUNMI M2 MAX is a mobile terminal that pairs a rugged build with strong performance and versatile applications. The device works equally well in a shop, restaurant, warehouse or during stocktaking out in the field.

Hardware built to take more

The M2 MAX has been reinforced with demanding working conditions in mind. An IP65 rating protects against dust and water jets, while the housing withstands drops from one metre. The screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass, which resists scratches and impacts. As a result, the terminal needs no special handling ‐ it can be used in the kitchen, on the warehouse floor or on a busy sales floor.

Smooth operation without interruptions

Inside sits an octa-core Kryo-260 2.2 GHz processor, backed by memory in a 3GB + 32GB or 4GB + 64GB configuration. That combination handles multiple applications running at once ‐ a fiscal register, payment terminal, inventory software and messenger. The SUNMI OS operating system, based on Android 9.0, has been optimised for business use.

A full day on one battery

The 8360 mAh lithium-polymer battery delivers up to 12 hours of continuous operation and 20 days in standby. Staff do not have to break off from serving customers to charge the device, and during quieter periods the terminal stays ready to work without any additional attention.

Large screen and comfortable operation

The 10.1-inch Full HD display (1920×1200) offers a clear image and plenty of room for interface elements. The capacitive touch panel responds to multi-touch input and makes work comfortable both for cashiers and for managers reviewing reports directly on the device.

Communication and identification

The scanner version comes with a professional 2D engine that copes even with scratched, bent or dirty codes – a common obstacle in retail and logistics. Regardless of the variant, the device has two cameras: a front 5 MP with fixed focus and a rear 13 MP with autofocus and flash, which can also be used to read barcodes.

Accessories matched to the working scenario

The M2 MAX can be adapted to a range of uses:

• A hand strap improves grip while working on the move and reduces the risk of dropping the tablet.
• A charging docking station allows the device to rotate through 270 degrees and comes with RJ45, two USB 2.0 ports, a DC power socket and RJ12 for connecting a cash drawer.
• A protective case adds another layer of protection in environments where mechanical damage is more likely.

Manufacturer support

The terminal works with the SUNMI Cloud platform and the SUNMI Business Service (SBS) package. The solution covers remote technical support, device fleet management and tools that make running multiple locations from a single admin panel easier.
