The Lumi 203 dpi printer is equipped with a 32-bit microprocessor for faster printing; it has a standard memory of 128MB Flash ROM and 64MB SDRAM; it supports communication via USB and RS232 interfaces, with Ethernet as an option. In addition, the printer has a single multifunction key and an LED indicator, which make it easy to operate the printer and to display its current status.
The printer supports the following programming languages: PEPL, PZPL, PDPL (EPL, ZPL, DPL emulation), and it is also compatible with Datamax.
A free, advanced label editing program for Windows is supplied with the printer.
Apart from standard editing of the designed label, the program allows:
- printing from a database
- creating and advanced modification of variable fields
- changing printer parameters
- calibration and diagnostics
The printer makes it easy to create a label with variable fields and to load the project into the printer’s memory. This is an ideal solution for printing labels from a scale via the RS232 interface.
Since the printer is equipped as standard with a real time clock, it can print the date and time even when the scale indicator is not able to send such data.
