IMU NOVA POS 15″ POS Terminal

The IMU NOVA POS is a stationary point-of-sale terminal designed for use in demanding retail and food service environments. Its slim form and screen bezel of just 10 mm blend into the aesthetics of modern retail and food service interiors, without taking up unnecessary counter space.

Performance and processor

The device is equipped with an Intel® N95 processor, operating in fanless mode. Passive heat dissipation through aluminium components eliminates moving parts, resulting in silent operation and reduced failure rates. The configuration includes 8 GB RAM and a 128 GB SSD. The operating system is Windows 10 or Windows 11 (64-bit).

Display

The main 15-inch screen (1024 × 768 resolution, LED) is equipped with a PCAP capacitive touch panel supporting up to 10 simultaneous touch points. The flat glass screen surface facilitates cleaning and meets hygiene requirements typical of food service environments. The use of optical bonding technology reduces glare and improves image readability under intense retail lighting.

Ports and connectivity

The terminal offers an extensive set of interfaces. On the rear of the housing: 3 × USB 2.0, 1 × USB 2.0 (RJ11), DisplayPort, Mini DP, 3.5 mm audio output, RJ45 LAN port and DC 12V power. On the side: 2 × USB 3.0 and 1 × USB Type-C with DP Alt mode support. The device has 4 serial ports (3 × RJ50, 1 × RJ11) enabling connection of POS peripheral devices. The built-in wireless module supports Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.1. The device has a 3W speaker providing audio signals.

Expansion options

The terminal can be equipped with a customer display (CDP, 9.7″, 15″ or 15.6″), MSR magnetic card reader (ISO 7811, all tracks) and Dallas reader (iButton, 6 characters, prefix and suffix). MSR and Dallas accessories are mounted wirelessly using a Pogo-Pin connector ‐ no additional cabling required. 15″ and 15.6″ customer monitors can operate independently with an extension cable of up to 3 metres.
