Seiko Instruments introduces the new kiosk thermal printer APU-2242-A02U. The printer uses a quick mechanism from the LTP2000 series with automatic paper loading. APU-2242 is characterized by a good ratio of technical parameters to price.

APU-2242 is a compact printer that prints on thermosensitive paper from a roll with a maximum diameter of 87 mm and a width of 60 mm. The printer has an automatic cutter and presenter. Communicates with the computer via the USB interface. The APU-2242 printer prints barcodes.

It is intended for applications on the market of automatic sales devices, parking meters and maintenance-free POI information points as well as internet and multimedia kiosks. Included with the printer are delivered drivers for Windows XP / Vista.
