The FUZZYSCAN FA490 scanner is an advanced 2D device for scanning barcodes and QR codes, designed by Cino for versatile industrial and business applications. Equipped with advanced FuzzyScan image processing technology, powered by artificial intelligence and a 1.3-megapixel global-shutter matrix, the FA490 scanner offers exceptional reading speed and reliability, reaching up to 120 scans per second. Thanks to its compact, damage-resistant design and IP54 sealing, the FA490 performs well in various conditions, both indoors and outdoors.

FA490 Models:

The FA490 offers several models designed for different types of tasks, allowing the device to be adapted to specific requirements:

1. XD Model:
   • Designed for reading very dense barcodes and DPM (direct part marking) codes.
   • Minimum resolution: 2.0 mil for Code 39, 4.0 mil for DM/QR codes.
   • Reading range: up to 9 inches for 13 mil UPC/EAN code.
2. HD Model:
   • Optical system adapted for scanning dense codes with moderate range.
   • Minimum resolution: 2.3 mil for Code 39, 4.5 mil for DM/QR codes.
   • Reading range: up to 20 inches for 13 mil UPC/EAN code.
3. SR Model (Standard Range):
   • Designed for general applications, provides excellent reading range in most real-world applications.
   • Minimum resolution: 2.7 mil for Code 39, 4.8 mil for DM/QR codes.
   • Reading range: up to 28 inches for 13 mil UPC/EAN code.
4. MR Model (Medium Range):
   • A model with balanced motion tolerance and range, suitable for most business codes.
   • Minimum resolution: 3.0 mil for Code 39, 5.0 mil for DM/QR codes.
   • Reading range: up to 17 inches for 13 mil UPC/EAN code.
5. UW Model (Ultra Wide):
   • Exceptionally wide scanning field (73.2˚ H x 63.8˚ V) and ability to read fast-moving codes, ideal for applications such as vending machines or bottle return machines.
   • Minimum resolution: 3.8 mil for Code 39, 7.0 mil for DM/QR codes.
   • Reading range: up to 14 inches for 13 mil UPC/EAN code.
